ENGSO fulfils its vision and mission through a variety of actions that go hand in hand with each other. These include advocacy, education-research-raising awareness projects, and events.
We build bridges
Together and on behalf of our member organisations, which are National Olympic Committees and National Sport Confederations, we advocate for the recognition and empowerment of grassroots sport by the EU institutions. It is ENGSO’s pursuit to be the link between organised European grassroots sport and decision-making at the European Union level.
Advocacy
ENGSO advocates for empowered grassroots sport, the societal value of sport, sustainable funding, equality, and good governance.

Developed together with ENGSO members, the Policy Programme contains our positions and beliefs to speak with one common voice.
EUROpean sport platform
The annual flagship event of ENGSO is an opportunity for members and beyond to network and engage with core topics of the European grassroots sport movement through panels, speeches, and interactive sessions that combine ENGSO’s internal expertise of its Committees with external experts.
