Season’s Greetings from ENGSO

Dear friends,

As 2022 is approaching we would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the trust you have placed in us, and thank you for your continued support and partnership in the past year.

Although 2021 has been another challenging year for the grassroots sport movement in Europe, it has been filled with incredible growth. With your help, we have managed to accomplish our objectives and ambition to represent and advocate for voluntary-based sport in Europe.

We met in Vilnius, Lithuania, and exchanged our visions and ideas at the 4th European Sport Platform. More than 50 participants joined our virtual 29th General Assembly which welcomed new committee members. Despite the challenges, we progressed with projects and provided outcomes that will help our members innovate, educate and implement new strategies.

In 2022, we plan to stay committed to our mission of using grassroots sport to build stronger communities and strengthen the foundations of the voluntary-based sport in Europe, which are built on values of democracy, equality, inclusion, sustainability, integrity and education.

With these thoughts in mind, we are hoping to meet you again in 2022 – at the General Assembly in the Faroe Islands and at the 5th European Sport Platform in the Netherlands.
