Open Call for hosting: Training Course on Advocacy, Equality, and Human Rights in Sport
Sport Equality action plan aims to ensure grassroots voluntary based sport movement in EU are called to promote equality, human rights and democratic values for a stronger Europe. Within the framework of this action plan, the European Youth & Sport Platform will be organised.
The objective of this call is to select a hosting organisation responsible for co-organising, together with ENGSO, the Training Course on Advocacy, Equality, and Human Rights in Sport.
This event will bring together 20 participants from the grassroots sport movement, representing ENGSO members. These participants will be responsible for developing advocacy plans for their organisations and leading advocacy campaigns and programmes following the training.
Event venue selection;
Event coordination and organisation;
Communication and promotional activities;
Participants invitation and welcoming.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The hosting organisation must be an ENGSO member based in an EU country.
The awarded member should be able to demonstrate:
The capacity to propose a relevant title or specific focus/approach related to the event;
The capacity for creativity and innovation;
The capacity to involve European, national, and local stakeholders in the organisation and delivery of activities;
The capacity to organise the event in an accessible venue within an EU member country in 2025;
The capacity to manage event-related communication effectively;
Availability to draft a final report in collaboration with the designated ENGSO/ENGSO Youth representative;
The capacity to incorporate a gender perspective in their proposal, including an analysis and description of the different needs of various genders and a demonstration of how these will be addressed during the event.
The awarded member should be able to provide:
One room for about 20 people for two days
A beamer and a screen, and at least one flip chart.
A photographer for at least 1 group photo or photos in between.
Lunches and dinners for 20 people.
Accommodation (next to the meeting room) with 20 single rooms.
Travel for 20 participants from EU countries.
Local transportation.
If the organiser wants to organise a study trip or a sightseeing tour, it is very much appreciated but not necessary.

The organiser is also encouraged to:
Increasing the number of participants by inviting local attendees is encouraged, with the associated costs to be covered by the organiser.

The event should take place in the second semester of 2025.
A lump sum contribution of €10,000 will be provided to support the co-organisation of the European Youth & Sport Platform.
The call will remain open for two months, and the first application that meets all the criteria will be selected.
