Open Call for hosting: Young Delegates Meeting for Youth in the decision making - Equality and Sport

The objective of the call is to select a hosting organisation who will be in charge of organising the event together with ENGSO. The event is called “Young Delegates Meeting for Youth in the decision making – Equality and Sport”, an event with 35 young participants representing different European stakeholders and organisations related to youth sport in EU with the objective of increasing youth participation in shaping sport organisations with a focus on democratic societies. 

The activities to be covered as hosting organisation are:

• Event venue selection,
• Event coordination and organisation,
• Communication and promotional activities,
• Participants invitation and welcoming 

Eligibility criteria

• The hosting organisation must be an EU ENGSO members
• The awarded member should be able to demonstrate:

• Capacity to reach out to European, national and local stakeholders working on youth participation, including public and private organisations,
• Capacity in reaching relevant communication and dissemination channels;
• Capacity to organise the event in an accessible venue in one of the EU member country in 2024;
• Capacity of managing the communication around the event effectively
• Availability of drafting a final report computed in collaboration with the referent person from ENGSO
• Capacity include a gender perspective in their proposal (analyse and description of the different needs of different genders and demonstration of how they will be addressed during the event).

The awarded member should be able to provide:

• One room for about 35 persons for four days
• A beamer and a screen, and at least one flip chart.
• A photographer for at least 1 group photo and photos in between.
• Lunches and dinners for 35 persons
• Accommodation (next to the meeting room) with 30 single rooms
• Travel for 35 participants from EU countries
• Local transportation
• One cultural/leisure/sport activities

The event should happen in the first semester of 2024.

The call will remain open for two months, the first application that fulfill all the criteria and will be selected.
