How can sport organisations better consider women’s health?

Many sport and physical activity programmes continue to be designed without adequately considering women’s bodies, life stages and health needs. As a result, programmes may inadvertently create barriers to participation, undermine wellbeing or fail to support women’s long-term engagement in sport and physical activity.

Creating truly inclusive and sustainable sport environments requires moving beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and considering how programme design can better reflect women’s realities throughout different stages of life.
