ENGSO is developing a training course together with practitioners from the field and Prof. Lucas Meijs on strategically working with volunteers and active members — and you can participate in the pilot free of charge. The great thing is, you can join each session separately, you choose what to join!
About UVMIS project
Upskilling Volunteer Managers in Sport (UVMIS) project is focusing on improving volunteer management in sports organisations. The team will develop training and learning resources for current and former volunteer managers in sport, tailored to the diverse needs of different organisations.
The course is based on scientific insights and practical experience and the master level curriculum created by the European Erasmus+ UVMIS project.
Our aim? To help transform the training offer for Sport volunteer managers in Europe.
Through 8 sessions (online and in person), you will work on increasing your strategic volunteer management ability and focus on topics including: • The journey of members within and outside your organisation: from initial interest to active engagement • From recruitment to the organisation’s recruitment potential: what really works according to science? • How to create true win-win-win scenario’s for all stakeholders?
