European Sport Model from the grassroots perspective

Focusing on the foundation of the pyramid – the grassroots sport movement, we hosted an online seminar to discuss the grassroots perspective on the European Sport Model.   

After the welcome speech from the ENGSO President Stefan Bergh outlining the rational of the online seminar and ENGSOs efforts in the context of the European Sport Model, the Chair of the ENGSO EU Advisory Committee (EUAC) & Senior Advisor Public Affairs at the Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation (NOC*NSF) Theo Neyenhuis and member of the EUAC & International Relations Unit at the French Olympic and Sports Committee Pierre-Louis Magnani took over. In this highly informative knowledge exchange Pierre-Louis Magnani described the main characteristics of the model and the need and means to safeguard it in light of  the grassroots perspective and addressed the current challenges of the ESM that call for solutions.
