Supporting fair play at all levels of sport: ENGSO attends European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) General Assembly
The European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) General Assembly took place online, on 7 June 2023. ENGSO Secretary General Sara Massini participated in the event on behalf of ENGSO.
The main aim of the European Fair Play Movement is to promote Fair Play and Tolerance in the broadest sense (in sports and everyday life) at European level. ENGSO and the European Fair Play Movement signed the Memorandum of Understanding in 2022 in Roma at the congress of the European Fair Play Movement (EFPM). Since then, ENGSO has been regularly participating in EFPM events and activities and promoting Fair play in their work.
During the assembly, Sara Massini passed the greetings from ENGSO and its president Stefan Bergh, and invited the participants to join ENGSO’s flagship event – the European Sport Platform (ESP) which will be held 12-14 October 2023. Fair Play will be one of the topics at the 2023 edition of the ESP, and the EFPM President will be one of the speakers.
The next events EFPM will organise are the World Fair Play day on 7 September and EFPM congress in Baku on 23-24 November 2023.
