Sarah Townsend, European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation (Vice Chair)
Liam Strasser, 100% SPORT – Austrian Centre of Excellence for Gender Equality and Safe Sport
The EWS Committee would also like to express its sincere gratitude to the members who served during the 2024–2026 mandate for their dedication and valuable contributions, with special thanks to:

Ivana Samija, Croatian Olympic Committee

Throughout the new mandate, the EWS Committee will continue its commitment to advancing equality in and through sport by fostering strong networks, leading collaborative projects, and organising events that promote inclusion, diversity, and equality. The committee will also continue to advocate for European policies that strengthen the efforts of grassroot sport to achieve meaningful and lasting equality. Key initiatives during the 2026–2028 mandate will include the launch of a mentoring programme, the delivery of an equality training programme, and a series of online seminars addressing emerging equality issues in sport.
