Equality in Sport (EQUIP) conference
Day one of the European Sport Platform will revolve around equality. This day is free of charge to attend and will be organised by the Erasmus Plus project EQUIP team with the support of ENGSO EWS.
The EQUIP partners are currently working on the project’s final event: the Equality in Sport (EQUIP) conference, which will take place on October 12th, in Lisbon, Portugal.
This last project activity will bring together sport clubs and federations which are active in building a more inclusive grassroots sports environment, as well as experts on equality, diversity and inclusion from across Europe. The 9 project partners have developed an exciting afternoon program to present and discuss the project results, including interactive sessions such as a quiz, a Human Library, a walk of privilege and a call for action.
The doors will open at 13:30 to allow participants to exchange with the project partners and “Equality Champions” before the official start of the conference at 14:00.
