ENGSO President Stefan Bergh and Vice President Filipa Godinho participate in EUSA’s 25th anniversary Conference and Gala
ENGSO President Stefan Bergh and ENGSO Vice President Filipa Godinho participated in the 2024 European University Sports Association (EUSA) Conference and Gala, celebrating the 25th anniversary of EUSA.

The event, held on November 16, 2024, at the University of Vienna in Austria, brought together over 150 attendees from across Europe. The Conference and Gala Dinner brought together EUSA’s member associations, partners, invited guests, speakers, and local university authorities. The event served as a platform to discuss key topics in university sports and to celebrate EUSA’s 25th anniversary.
Reflecting on the occasion, ENGSO President Stefan Bergh shared his connection to EUSA’s journey: “The anniversary event was emotional for me. In 1999, also here in Vienna, I had the honor of chairing the founding meeting of EUSA. And now, 25 years later, seeing the positive change, I am really impressed and proud over EUSA’s achievements.”
ENGSO and EUSA have been longstanding partners, playing an instrumental role in the development of European sport. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to EUSA for their dedication, efforts, and accomplishments over the past 25 years and congratulate them on this significant milestone.
