ENGSO meets with NOC Kosovo to strengthen the collaboration and discuss 2024 European Sport Platform
On 20 August 2024, ENGSO President Stefan Bergh, ENGSO Office Director Marie Denitton and ENGSO Secretary General Sara Massini made an official visit to Pristina, Kosovo, to meet with the Kosovo Olympic Committee (NOC Kosovo), and to discuss the upcoming collaboration and the 2024 edition of the European Sport Platform (ESP 2024).
ENGSO Delegation, led by ENGSO President Stefan Bergh, met with the President of the NOC Kosovo Ismet Krasniqi, the Commission in charge of the organisation of the ESP 2024 and other representatives of NOC Kosovo, including EWS and EU Advisory Committee member Rejhan Halili.
The aim of the visit was to strengthen the cooperation with ENGSO member NOC Kosovo, learn more about their work at the national and international level, and discuss the preparation for this year’s edition of the ESP which will take place in Pristina, Kosovo, from 21-23 November 2024. Besides hosting ENGSO’s flagship event, NOC Kosovo also partners in Erasmus+ Sport project Sport as Value which works towards capacity building of organisations and sport professionals in Balkan grassroots sports movement. Among the many activities implemented during the project, NOC Kosovo will held a local event in September, promoting the sport and EU values among young generation.
