ENGSO hosts online training on sport and youth funding opportunities
On January 9, 2025, ENGSO hosted an online training session for its members, focusing on funding opportunities available through European Commission Erasmus+ and other programs.
The session was led by ENGSO Equality and Projects Officer, Floriane Poncet-Rief, and ENGSO Youth Policy and Projects Manager Tiago Guilherme. They provided detailed insights into the various funding options accessible to sports organisations and grassroots sport sector.
The presentation covered key aspects of the Erasmus+ program, including: – Structure and priorities – Sport-specific opportunities – Youth-specific opportunities
In addition, the session offered valuable advice on key considerations for successful applications to the Erasmus+ program. To complement this, participants were introduced to other funding mechanisms, including CERV, EU4Health, the European Solidarity Corps, and initiatives by the Council of Europe, among others.
