ENGSO EU Advisory Committee meets in Paris, hosted by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee

From 25–26 March 2026, the ENGSO EU Advisory Committee (EU AC) gathered in Paris, France, for a regular working meeting focused on developing ENGSO’s new advocacy plan. This marked the first time the Committee gathered at the headquarters of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee in the French capital.

In addition to reviewing the new advocacy plan, the meeting aimed to strengthen ENGSO’s efforts in promoting grassroots sport within EU policy. The Committee also engaged in discussions with representatives of the French Ministry of Sports, Youth and Community Life to exchange views on EU policy developments and the broader context of the grassroots sports movement.

Participants in Paris included: Kaisa Larjomaa (Chair, Finnish Olympic Committee), Angele Feuillette (CNOSF), Andre Urban (OPES), Chloe Jordan (ENGSO Youth), and ENGSO Secretary General Theo Neyenhuis.
