ENGSO and UFEC extend collaboration to develop grassroots sport in Europe

ENGSO Policy Director Mr Laurent Briel met with Mr Gerard Esteva, President of UFEC – Union de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (associate member of ENGSO), who paid a visit to the ENGSO office in Brussels, Belgium, on Wednesday, 12 January 2022.

 

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the collaboration and the future endeavours. Both parties agreed to continue a successful collaboration and partnership, through Erasmus+ Sport and other projects.

 

UFEC agreed the partnership with ENGSO is important for the following reasons:

– Knowledge exchange

– Public relations and networking

– Representing grassroot sport interests to institutions.

 

ENGSO and UFEC will share more projects and ideas in the coming weeks, ranging from defending the interests and development of grassroots sport to media and communication.

 

 

We thank UFEC for a fruitful collaboration and look forward to common endeavours in the future.
