Since the kickoff meeting held in Bologna, on January 2024, the consortium has been working on spreading the survey and conducting interviews with athletes, coaches, parents and management of sport clubs and sport organisations. The results of this data collection served as foundations for building the A Fairer Coaching online course: aiming to empowering coaches working with youth in grassroots sports to promote equality, inclusion, and prevent abusive or discriminatory behaviours in sports.

The e-learning will be offering the following 6 training modules, each one built by one of the partners according to their expertise, to support coaches, sport organisations and clubs in being fair and equal in their trainings:

  • Module 1: A holistic coaching mindset – the foundation of fair coaching
  • Module 2: Relationship and Communication – Coaching and Power
  • Module 3: Positive Coaching Behaviour: Creating a positive motivational climate
  • Module 4: Responsibility and safety
  • Module 5: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
  • Module 6: Rules & Regulations

The course,  will be offering a recognition badge for each training module finalised and a final certificate of completion to attest the participation.

After officially presenting the e-learning in February 2025, in presence in Paris, and in an online transnational meeting  hosted by the International Council for Coaching Excellence and ENGSO, it will be public and available on the project webpage.

This presentation will be also followed by a series of in presence meetings, hosted by the partners to spread the results of the project so far, and the online training course.
